I have researched an listened to the public with regards to thier work related pains and discomforts due to being seated for prolonged period of time and work related stress. Stress is caused by a variety of factors: work, relationship, personal goals even being seated all day holding your posture can take a toll on the body. This in time leads to tension, aches and pain if left untreated. The role of the PNS (parasympathetic nervous system) which promotes self preservation should kick in. When we do not signal the parasympathetic nervous system, we remain in a constant state of fight or flight, Slowly stress constantly builds in our body and our resources to deal with it deplete. Gradually, it becomes a part of muscle memory as we start to store this stress reaction in our body.  Espierre's Work performance massage routine, targets specific areas that undergo most daily tension.
